Advocated the High-key and texture life, always insist in itself and full of adventure spirit. It doesn’t need too much verbal to explain, but explain everything by attitude. This is the style of ASH (Aixi) as a luxury brand in Italy. Since its inception in 2000, the ASH shoes have maintained a very strong fashion sports atmosphere and is very personalized.
This is inseparable from Aixi’s high standard and high requirement for brand. The choice of zipper is the same, Aixi’s demands are very strict. In 2003, Aixi’s designers in the process of developing the shoes in the new season, It was found that the 8# metal zipper is used on the vamp and the volume of the pull head was too large, but because of the small volume size, it was deviated from the Aixi’s design style in the current season. In May of the same year, Aixi’s designers and shoes manufacturers together to met the DAQ zipper design team, put forward some problems they concerned.
Preliminary selection of 8# metal zipper, but the 8# common metal pull head was too fat to move. They hoped we can solve the problem existing in the current style of using the metal zipper head.
Question1: the 8# metal zipper head is too large, intuitively drowned the spotlight of the shoes, the shoes was discordant in whole.
Question2: The safe distance between the fabric and zipper must be expanded by 3MM because the metal head was too large, if the safe distance was expanded, the overall effect of the vamp would be very loose. If the safe distance was not expanded, when the zipper head was in use, it will cause friction with the vamp. It would lead to shoes breakage if used for a long time, the electroplated coating of the zipper was destroyed. Finally, the fabric would be black and the zipper head will be oxidized.
We analyzed it according to the Aixi’s demand. We tried to find a zipper head in appearance and function that can meet the Aixi’s requirements, but they all ended in failure. After tried without result, the design team decided to develop a zipper head to meeting the Aixi’s needs. After many times designed and modified the mold, finally, we designed 8# small round slider and get the approval of Aixi.

As above picture: the test data showing that the 8# round slider can reduce the width of the pull head minimum 1.5MM, it means that our safe distance can be reduced by at least 1MM.

After getting the Aixi’s affirmation, our 8# small round zipper has been applied to all kinds of shoes. In 2017, Aixi took the small round zipper as the theme, launched a series of small white shoes.
